Premium luggage maker, RIMOWA, recently collaborated with Daniel Arsham on a new edition he calls the Eroded Suitcase. Inspired by a vintage suitcase from the archives, the Brooklyn-based artist created a version using the techniques from his "Future Relic" series. One of these pieces will be auctioned off at Sotheby's and will be on view from May 4th - 13th at their NYC HQ (72nd & York Ave) with the bidding set to conclude on the 13th. The winner will also receive a signed drawing of the artwork, a letter from the artist, and special edition luggage sticker set. For those interested in owning one of these sculptural editions housed in a RIMOWA classic attaché, they can look to purchase one in select RIMOWA stores, on their website and Arsham's website for $2,200 USD starting May 17th.
