Earlier this week, the West 24th Street location of the Gagosian Gallery in New York opened a solo show from Jonas Wood featuring new paintings and works on paper. The fresh selection of work continues his use of art references, plants, everyday objects, and people in architectural interiors and exteriors, as well as a series of his depictions of pots and ceramic vessels. Each painting in the exhibition is accompanied by a corresponding small-scale work on paper with all 30 works featured in a fully illustrated catalogue.
