For Christmas I got my Dad a copy of Annie Kelly’s Rooms to Inspire in the Country and I loved looking through it this snowy, cold weekend. I especially liked this space below which blended modern and antique pieces in such a serene, effortless way.
This room has a gorgeous wall color (which I need to find) and clean, textural elements that really look fabulous together. It’s a smidge sparse for me- I’d have to add some art to the walls, especially over that fireplace.
Painted whit floors have become my new fave thing.
I love how this classically styled settee looks paired with the very modern Ghost chairs.
The black wall sets off the stairs in an incredible way. In the book the wall is white and I found this image from a spread in Connecticut Cottages & Gardens and like it so much better. I wonder if this is the current look or the other?
Gorgeous pops of color in the chairs paired with the fanciful carved table.
I love love love this chair (also from CT C&G)
