I saw this pillow by Nate Berkus for HSN that so emcompasses what I love about fall.  The air here in Boston has turned crisp and the smell of leaves wafts on every breeze making me wish A) I was buying some fly back to school supplies and B) completely overhaul my life to embrace all things cozy- rich colors, warm blankets, crackling fires, sweet cider and above all YUMMY SWEATERS!This pillow is a great way to bring fall fashion into your living room- with it’s preppy toggles an rich woven texture.

Ahhhhh, fall…..

You can even add a little cable knit action to that pumpkin spice latte with this cute knit cup cozy from Etsy!

I have to admit being a little surprised that the cream cable knit fisherman sweater was back in fashion.  I remember it being an 80’s prep staple on Nantucket, but never thought I’d see a $200+ version of it on the racks at Saks (I did, just FYI, by Elizabeth and James and it was FIERCE).  I will freely admit I am not an adventurous dresser- I feel like a total poser in most high fashion get ups, but I have made a comittment to trying to be a little more free and fun in my clothing.  So here is an outfit I wish I felt cool enough to wear when skipping through the leaves in the darling sidewalks of Waltham Street.
