When I found out I was pregnant I was 100% certain it was a girl. I had dreams of all the little girly clothes I could buy. Well, as we know, I’m very much having a boy.  And while the clothes aren’t QUITE as fun as girl clothes, it’s still been a trip to buy cute tiny things for the little guy to wear.  And in no way does having a boy mean you can’t have a cute “mommy & me” sartorial moment- no sir.

I wore a version of this outfit last night- but subbed in this maternity plaid pullover (30% off at Gap today) and faux leather leggings (best ones available) and added simple black heels.  While the heels left me ready to crash after two hours, the rest of the outfit was way comfy!

Also of note, this week I popped into Banana Republic to look for a scarf- and came out with a lot more. They are having a 40% off everything sale, and seeing as their new line seems to be running really large and long, SO many things fit my 9 month pregnant belly perfectly- like these below!

LOVE this big turtleneck sweater with skinny jeans and buffalo plaid scarf.

A long tunic sweater great with skinny jeans or leggings and another plaid shirt (button downs will be great for breastfeeding, I hear).

This striped sweater is the only thing I bought in a larger size- runs smaller than the sweaters above (which I bought in XS- I know, while 9 months pregnant! That’s how big they run!)
