Fashion Friday: Singin’ in the Rain
It rained yesterday and looks ominous this morning and I sit her cursing the fact that I have yet to buy myself cute rain boots. A simple black pair of Hunters would do the trick and remain stylish forever, but I’ve come to realize that there are so many attractive options perhaps my decision isn’t that easy.
(STYLE NOTE: But please, please do not wear rubber rain boots on dry, sunny days as real boots. I’ve been seeing this around Boston (with bare legs and skirts) and it looks so silly. Unless your walking in mud/snow/slush/rain these bad boys need to stay in the closet, no matter how fabulous they are)

Hunter themselves makes some fantastic options beyond their basic (quilted riding style and a pair by Jimmy Choo for Hunter):
An awesome Steve Madden pair with riding boot style and contrast back zipper (LOOOOOOOOVE)
Preppy versions and a simple mini-wedge boot:
Great lace ups versions!
Tough and sweet:
Patterns that make a statement yet go with a lot of colors:
Vivienne Westwood goes uber-stylish with a mini bootie and even a high hell in rubber!
These Cole Haan rain boots are sueded, so you COULD wear these not on rainy days without getting a Fashion Police ticket from me.
