FASHION FRIDAY: THE PERFECT “SEASON TRANSITION” COLOR
Some would consider cornflower/hydrangea blue strictly a summer color. But I love wearing this color year round, as it really brings such life to my face and I always seem to get compliments when I wear it. It’s happy and bold but still soft.

My friend Sarah has this stunning cornflower blue wool coat from Tibi that I have coveted for years. So when I saw the Boden coat (#1) in the catalog recently I had to order it. And it made me think of how great this color looks for the tricky transition between summer and fall. Mixed with oranges, fig and olive green (a favorite- and also THE color for fall) it adds some punch and a little unexpectedly flair as the temps turn a bit chillier.
