Holidays always remind me that I totally wimped out on registering for china for my wedding. I mean, I have some nice china, it’s just SOOOOO plain and boring. Pretty, but nothing that feels truly special. I wish I had gone with my gut and registered for the colorful, lovely china that had captured my heart when I walked the aisles with a scan gun and a diamond on my finger. I played it safe, and as I get older I find that playing it safe is NO FUN.

I recently came across this vintage Christian Dior malachite pattern called Gaudron on Replacements, Ltd and love it. Malachite is just the best.

This Etoiles by Bernadaud pattern was the one I fell in love with when engaged.  But in 2004 gold wasn’t popular so I thought platinum was better. #regrets

I still love Constance by Bernadaud, the “Charlotte York Pattern” and one a few of my friends have. So classic. So lovely. Would love this one now.

This mint green and gold Oasis by Haviland pattern is so fresh and pretty and still fiercely on trend! It would look fabulous mixed with another pattern!

Speaking of mixing, how about this combination of Laque De Chine Pistachio and Juliska’s Country Estate, which I adore.

Or Hermes Chain D’ancre mixed with Jasper Conran’s Chinoiserie Green?

What did you register for? Do you still love it? What would you pick if you could do it over again?
