I saw this space the other day by Chenault James and absolutely LOVED it.  This paper by Quadrille is an all-time favorite of mine (we just did drapes in a grey version in a dining room that are SO beautiful) and I adore it with the bold orange drapes and light blue Louis chairs.  Just a wonderful space all together.

The lucite curtain rods add a hint of modernity and these pale blue antique consoles are the perfect compliment to the dining chairs. basically, this room knocks it out of the park for me.

So I tried to recreate it with retail items, which while still not cheap, MUCH cheaper than the real deal :) I also added a very pale blue ceiling too, in high gloss it would add a bit of interest/ sparkle.

  1. rug // 2. chandelier (I love this and have been wanting to use it!) 3. // ceiling color- super pale blue // 4. wallpaper // 5. mirrors // 6. vintage table // 7. lucite curtain rods // 8. mercury glass vases // 9. antique-style chest // 10. Louis chairs // 11. trim (have seamstress add to drapes) 12. velvet drapes

Some other great family-centered spaces by Chenault James– I love the casual but totally gorgeous feel of all these spaces!
