Inspired Palettes.
I was looking at a painting the other day and thinking randomly about how a specific shade in it would make the best lipgloss color. So random, I know, but it got me thinking about how painting and makeup are similar. I majored in painting in college and find those skills make me pretty decent at doing people’s makeup. The day of my wedding I did some of my bridesmaids makeup (and my own), at other weddings I’ve helped fix some brutally overzealous makeup-artist work and I did my sister-in-law’s at her wedding to my brother. It’s like painting on a three dimensional canvas, in a way. So I thought, why not create some makeup palettes based on paintings?? It was a fun creative exercise for me and hopefully fun for you too.
