My New Mantra
There is nothing more perfect to hang above my desk than this. My tendency to get anxious and dramatic is legendary, and if I can look at this every day perhaps I’ll become that serene optimist I so want to be.
Or maybe it just makes me laugh.
This is a copy of a WWII poster that was plastered all over Britain at the beginning of the war to try to entice the citizens to keep living their daily lives. For me, it’ll be a daily reminder that the sky is not falling and to take everything one day at a time.
You can get the poster in a variety of colors on the Keep Calm Gallery site for about $40 plus shipping from the UK. However, I found it on Barter Books for much less (but it only comes in the original red).
I plan on framing this in a ornate carved wood (like above) frame that I will paint glossy white.
