For my first-ever reupholstery project, my target was this ‘chair’.  It is actually one piece of a sectional sofa that had been in my husbands family for longer than I’ve been alive. It has very tailored cushions and is super low to the ground.

I wanted a slipper chair for my office that was all-white, and casually un-tailored.  The idea to reupholster this chair occurred back in February back when I decided to go for an all-white office in this post.

Over the period of about three months, I finally finished.  There were two different points where I completely gave up, returned all unused materials to Lowe’s and then turned around and RE-bought the materials, resolute to just finish the damn thing.

It definitely looks like a first reupholstry project, and I definitely had some headaches with it.  I think that from now on, I’ll leave upholstery to the professionals!

What do you guys think?

Have YOU ever tried reupholstering something?  Please share with us if you have!

Have an AMAZING Monday!!
