Lulu Georgia Cozy Elegant Fall

Fall decorating is kind of my jam year round. I love neutrals all the time, but feel like they’re especially comforting and cozy during the fall and winter seasons.  One of my absolutely favorite go-to shops is Lulu & Georgia and I actually have to try and restrain myself from including them in every friday faves.  It got to the point where I had so many items bookmarked, that a whole post is definitely in order!

Dimmer nights

For the nights when the sun starts to set a bit early, stylish lighting is always in order.  The Stump light is elegant, rustic, and neutral, perfect for someone whose style is classic with an edge.

Burnt Orange

I’m cheating here!  Burnt orange is basically brown, but I love that it’s a rich, caramel-y brown that goes nicely with white, black, and navy.  This ‘X marks the spot’ rug is easy to style and creates a sense of warmth while still adding a bit of pop to an otherwise neutral palette.

Levels of Brown

Pick one hue and do tons of levels of it for a lot of dimension without a ton of color. This tip is one of my go-to’s! An off-kilter herringbone pillow in cream and brown would be a perfect starting point!

Black furniture

With too many neutrals in once space, everything can feel a bit washed out and run together.  Black furniture has visual weight that grounds a space nicely.  This Lovisa black bench is nice because it sits low to the ground, still allowing for tons of open, airy, visual space above it.

Even if you’re not color-phobic like me, I’m sure there are some tips you can use!  How is your autumnal decorating coming along?
