DIY Gift Wrap and A Giveaway!
I’m loving all of the black and white christmas we have going on! Are you?! It’s really simple, streamlined, and cozy looking – especially with the fun I have in store for you today! I was on the lookout for a big buffalo check paper and after searching far and wide, I came up empty handed. So I took matters into my own (empty) hands and just made my own.
Although the DIY gift wrap ‘making’ started out totally different than how it ended up… Let me explain
I knew I wanted a buffalo check and my mind went right to hand painting the check on a roll of white freezer paper. Sometimes my DIY mind goes straight to the most complicated option. After spending an hour or so trying various paint techniques, I actually just looked at my printer and thought, “why didn’t I just print it?”. So, I hopped on the ol’ photoshop and created the exact buffalo check I wanted. Then, I got a little carried away and made a brushed tree paper too.
Sometimes the easiest and best looking option is right under your nose.
Small gifts like this Daniel Wellington watch that I got for a certain someone *wink* just takes one sheet of regular sized printer paper. Or you can tape two pieces together for medium gifts, print on legal paper, or even cut the paper into strips and make a belly band like I have on the larger gift above.
