FOUR I’d be curious to find out what the ‘farm haus’ candle from Haus smells like.  I don’t think the ‘musty damp’ smell is that sell-able, so they probably went the herby, earthy route.  $32 from Haus Interior. FIVE these cascading baskets would be perfect in a kitchen, office, kids room, or bathroom.  Just $59 from Urban Outfitters. SIX soft aqua off linen in this pillow from Lulu & Georgia is a beautiful summery combination, $78.

Getting revved up for high summer involves lots of brights, but I also love the soft, mellow, cozy side of the season.  This holiday weekend, Matt and I are spending time with family in a very cozy, communal atmosphere playing games, drinking, eating and relishing in summer.
