Seven Great Rug Options (for the Nursery)
I’ve been looking for a great multicolored rug for the nursery and my stipulations are endless! I want something that is a vintage traditional style with both blue and some coral colors. I’d prefer there to be a small pile, although flatware would be ok. Basically, I want something gender neutral that is vintage, but don’t have the funds for a real traditional Turkish or Persian rug.
Most of my selections are reproductions because they are less expensive, but that also means they’re made from a synthetic. I know this isn’t the best, especially for a nursery, but I’m on a budget here. I’m fairly sure that if I use a manmade fiber rug in the nursery, it won’t be the worst thing I do to the kid throughout it’s lifetime. One of the rugs that caught my eye (which I didn’t include) was actually 22K. Seriously?
My absolute favorite is the EBTH rug, but I’m in a bit of a bidding war with it. I’ll wait a few days until I re-up my bid. It’s actually vintage, it’s actually wool, and it’s all the right colors. It’s in a bit of disrepair, but that is one of the things I love about it.
Regardless, I have seven selections that I like enough to consider. Some are out of budget, but I really like them and wanted to include them also!
