The List Week 11

I was getting reeeeal cocky about getting through this whole winter without so much as a sniffle, then this past Wednesday, I got hit hard with the flu. Double sucky because of the pregnancy thing, but I think we’re getting through it by resting a lot and keeping the Tylenol flowing.  Luckily, me and my trusty laptop can still work from bed.  Ok, I hate talking about (or reading about) sickness, let’s move onto prettier things.

The List Week 11

No. 1 GET MOBILE – I am not a huge fan of mobiles, but I’ve had my eye out there for a pretty (and gender neutral) one for the nursery.  These beautiful himmeli style mobiles are just the right mix of attention grabbing and stylish.

No. 2 NATURALLY ABSTRACT – I always love learning about new artists and learning of Megan Carty’s work was such a happy moment!  This abstract mountain called ‘Austrian Splendor’ is my fave, but her absolutely stunning take on bouquets is truly where Megan’s work shines. (plus, the bridal bouquet abstracts are custom!!)

No. 3 TO GOOD USE – This is a really simple leather cube ottoman, but I can think of several good places I could use this in my home.  It’s going to make the shortlist of potential new pieces for the living room redesign.

No. 4 HANDMADE BEAUTY – I really love sconces and this beautiful, handmade modern orb wall light is striking!  It’s a bit pricey, but I think it’s so worth it for custom craftsmanship.  The other designs from this shop are just as gorgeous – check them all out!

No. 5 BLACK AND BLUE ALL OVER – Although I was first drawn in this Etsy shop by the black and white star-like pillow, I soon also fell in love with this blue otami style cushion.  Don’t they look pretty together?
