Happy Weekend! I am quite happy this week is coming to an end. I’ve been fighting the tail end of this sickness and am looking forward to getting further away from it as the days progress. We’ve got a weekend full of Easter festivities and probably a fair amount of work around the house and yard. I’ll share more of the details next week, but let’s just say that a sooner-than-expected carpet installation is pushing a ton of other planned projects (a built-in, a ceiling paneling, lots of painting) into a very short time period so that it can all be done pre-new carpet. I think we’ll manage, we just might have to bring in reinforcements.
The List Week 12
No. 1 FELTED POM DIY – Molly from Almost Makes Perfect posted the cutest felted pom pillow DIY and I think I must give it a try!
No. 2 TOPS MY LIST – When traveling abroad, I become obsessed with the electric kettles in the hotels. They’re so fast! I have wanted one for years, but they’re always pretty ugly, so image my delight when this gorgeous SMEG kettle popped up on my screen this week. In this rustic/retro cream color, it’s just perfect, although the black one is also calling my name…
No. 3 SUMMER STRIPES – I love a good light weight woven blanket for the summer. I’m one of those people that absolutely must have a blanket on me when I’m laying down or relaxing…even in 90 degree heat, so the webby, woven varieties are usually what I stock up on.
No. 4 POUCH PERFECT – This leather bottomed ikat pouch is adorable! It’s large enough to hold an iPad and lots of other things, plus folds in half for a clutch as well. It would be a great multi-purpose travel pouch for organization in your carryon as well as a pretty purse for a night out.
No. 5 FOR MANY REASONS – cacti have really been hitting a strong note with me lately. You might have seen the adorable 1st baby purchase I made this week on Insta, but (spoiler alert) it’s got cacti as well. This B&W Cacti print is beautiful because it’s neutral and calm, but still gives you those warm, casual desert vibes.
