Happy Friday, friend! How has your week been? This is the first week in MONTHS that I’ve finally felt caught up on work.  It’s a good feeling to finally be on top of the work coming in instead of just being reactive.  We’ve had a lot going on around here this week, from a total 360 in the living room plans to an ‘ah-ha’ moment to a super simple modern DIY.  I’ve already been hard at work on some great new posts for the upcoming weeks about our continuing renovations around the farmhouse as well.  Matt and I have been tackling one project after the next for so long that I don’t think we’ll know what to do when it’s finished.  The work is dwindling down further and further with this weekend just amounting to a few cabinet doors that need to be attached and a ceiling fan repair and that’s all (ok, maybe a window fix in there too).  BUT, if we can get those few things under control then (dare I say) we’ll be DONE?! Granted, I’ll still have some styling and decor work, but the big DIY projects (painting, woodworking, electrical work, etc etc) will be done. I must admit that the aforementioned task list will completely be on Matt since I’ll be in Atlanta this weekend for a friend’s wedding and girls’ weekend!

Anyway, Since my mind is already a little moved onto the decorative work, I’ve been doing a lot of internet scouring for the perfect pieces to finish off some of these rooms.  Here’s what’s striking my fancy this week.

The List Week 25

No. 1 WHAT A STEAL! – I’ve seen this bamboo pendant in several high style renovations lately and was thrilled to find out that it is just $60 from Ikea.  If you’re in the market, jump on this deal.

No. 2 PATTERN ME PRETTY – A pretty and cozy looking Mali pattern throw from Savannah Hayes looks like it needs a spot in my home, stat!

No. 3 CLASSY & COMFY – Everyone keeps commenting on how I’ll need really comfy shoes for the summer, and I know these black and white criss cross sandals are not what they had in mind, but I love them nonetheless.

No. 4 TEXTURE HEAVEN – You guys, I have a rug problem!  They’re all I look at!  I found this black and white rug and fell in love with the stripes plus the tufting and texture.  You must click through to look at it up close to see how wonderful it is… plus, it’s on sale for $244.  Nate Berkus wins again.

No. 5 YOU’VE GOT TO SEE THIS – If you’re in the Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky area, you MUST check out this sale on EBTH.com.  The quality and amount of mid-century modern furniture, art, and collectables is downright crazy.  There is SO MUCH GOOD STUFF.  Even if you life further away, you might be able to get something cheap enough that shipping is totally worth every penny. This coffee table and wooden dresser are a few of my faves.  If you’re in the market for a hanging rattan egg chair, they’ve got one of those too.
