Happy Friday friends!  This week just flew by for me, how about you? I made some good progress around the house this week with our many renovations, made big strides on a client project, and had enough time to get some reading in.  I’m currently reading OUT by Natsuo Kirino.  It’s quite good!  I’ll be adding it to my fall reading list, but in the meantime, if you’re looking for something good, check out my spring/summer list and last fall’s list.

Speaking of lists….

The List Week 30

No. 1 LIGHTING THE WAY – I love how simple, but modern this sleek white lamp with brass accents is.  I bought the matching sconces in black for our guest room a few weeks back and liked them so much that I wanted to also get the lamp for the nursery.

No. 2 MY TERRA COTTA DON’T WANT NONE – sometimes I crack myself up.  I love what the warm color of terra cotta does to a mostly neutral palette.  It’s a natural way to add some liveliness to a room.  This terra cotta etched vase would look amazing with a single palm frond lazing out of it and is a steal at $14.

No. 3 PILE IT ONtiered trays always make me happy.  This one is super simple and would look beautiful stacked with soaps, jewelry, and perfumes in a bathroom. And it’s only $25!

No. 4 TOO CUTE FOR WORDS – These hand knit bassinet and crib blankets are the most adorable things I’ve ever seen.  I really just don’t have words.  You need to check out the entire collection.

No. 5 BACK UP SOLUTIONS – remember the switch in plans to a navy couch?  It’s been a while since we spoke about it, but the custom cover is coming in next week and I can’t wait for it to arrive!  I am a tid bit worried about how well it will go with the rug that I got, so I have this Moroccan style shag rug from One Kings Lane on backup duty in case the blues in my rug and the blues in the couch are all a little too much.  Also, since I haven’t pulled the trigger on a nursery rug, it would kind of kill two birds with one stone if we used this moroccan rug in the living and moved the colorful rug to the nursery… I guess we’ll see how it all pans out once the cover arrives!
