The List Week 38
It’s one of those weeks where I thought it was Friday on Thursday and then finding out the truth was a huge let down. Weekends have meant a little something different to me recently. In the last few weeks, I’m overwhelmingly excited to have Matt home and to have someone help share in the baby rearing. There is just something about being able to be like, “here, can you watch this baby while I go to the bathroom”. Aside from the extra pair of hands, however, it’s fun to be together and to have someone to chat with. Although I work from home, during my self imposed maternity leave work hiatus my days involve a whole lot less adult interaction and buzzing around town. It is nice to be able to spend this precious time with the baby, but also leaves me excited to be around other adults on the weekends.
We have a few fun things on the agenda too! My nephew’s 2nd birthday party and an adult only dinner out with both of Matt’s brothers and sisters-in-law. It’s pretty rare that we all get the chance to go out sans children together, so it’s exciting!

The List Week 38
No. 1 WATERCOLOR GEM – I love how these watercolor baubles look like agate or gemstones! The watercolor art piece comes framed and with all that color would match pretty much any decor scheme.
No. 2 KOP A SQUAT – little stools are everywhere in my house. This color blocked white stool from Serena and Lily is perfect for a stack of books or plant in a little nook of the house or to use in a kids room. And it’s on clearance for under $50! Snatch it while you can!
No. 3 PRETTY PRESENTATION – I’m all about a beautiful cheese board and the rose gold handle on this cutting board makes it prettier than most. Plus, at under $30, it’s a deal. I might just have to get this beauty for a couple Christmas gifts!
No. 4 MY NEW FAVE – I bought this multi-tassel necklace last week and have been wearing it daily. I love that it’s funky and fun but doesn’t get in the way.
No. 5 MINIMAL METALLIC – You no longer have to choose between the natural organic-y look and glam. This soft artistic woven puff pillow also has a bit of subtle metallic! It’s a win-win situation.
