The List Week 40

Whew… I almost didn’t make it this week.  What about you?  I handled my first week back in the work saddle and dealt with a little growth spurt from the babe.  When you spend multiple days made up solely of alternating crying or nursing, it really takes it out of you… I think I really earned my happy hour tonight.  Speaking of happy hour, we’re headed to our local Whole Foods for their Friday 5 – wine and food tastings for $5.  We’ve learned that Whole Foods is like a bar you can bring you baby to, so we’ve been hanging out there on the weekends just to get out of the house as a family of three.  Hanging out in a grocery store on a Friday night is equal parts fun and embarrassing.  Tomorrow, we’re headed to a tailgate for the Ohio State football game and I’m excited to get outside in the nice fall weather with our friends and the kids. What’s on your weekend agenda?

Also, this is week forty of the list!  That means we have 12 week until the end of the year… that’s crazy!

The List Week 40

No. 1 KNOBBY – A good textured fiber always adds so much to a room, but these woven storage baskets also have a bit of shine with metallic woven in!  They’re beautiful!  Plus they’re 20% off through October 10th with the code FRIENDS16

No. 2 HALF FULL – Dipped home goods have been around for quite a while now and the trend is NOT going away any time soon.  I’m still on board, especially with these dip black and white canisters.

No. 3 CUP OR CONE – Similar lamps are in the $300 range, but this brass cone floor lamp beauty is just $159 and you can also get 20% off with the code FRIENDS16 through October 10th!  Have at it!

No. 4 CHAMBRILLIANT – Raw edge chambray looks expensive, but this set of 4 chambray napkins with fringe edge is under $8!!

No. 5 GEO-MAT-RIC – Throw rugs are a great way to update the style in your home for cheap!  Toss one by the kitchen sink, in the bathroom, or by the back door. I love this black and white triangle rag rug because it looks casual, but modern.

No. 6 – PULL UP A CHAIR – Do you know when you get obsessed with something and your time online is consumed with that one thing?  For whatever reason, that thing this week has been bar stools for me.  I have been thinking about switching up the ones in my kitchen and have been doing a bunch of research.  Although these gray saddle seat stools don’t quite go with my color scheme, I still love them and they’re fairly inexpensive (for stylish barstools, that is).
