The List Week 41

I don’t quite feel like it’s Friday.  Ever since having the baby, my work has been at odd days or hours, working mostly around her naps and meals.   As she’s growing and awake more and more, I haven’t been able to get into a good groove.  Things change everyday, so just as I think I kind of have a system, it stops working.  For the time being, I’m not super torn up about it.  I wanted to take it easy and focus on Maeve for a few more weeks, but I am getting nervous about the plausibility of working from home and taking care of the baby at the same time.  If any of you work from home and have kids at home, I’d love to hear how you balance it all.

But onto The List.  I’ve never been a big online shopper – I love seeing things in person.  Seeing it, holding it, determining if it’s worth the hard earned cash.  This week, I’m sharing a few things that I’ve seen (or bought) and loved the quality of it in person.

The List Week 41

No. 1 JINGLE JANGLE – I bought this Moroccan wedding blanket style pillow in Navy and I love it!  It’s hefty, really textural, and the gold pallets are just the right touch of shine.  It’s on sale too!

No. 2 BIG STATEMENT – You may have seen this chevron ceramic vase on my Instagram this week.  I saw it online and thought that for $39 from Crate and Barrel, it’s probably smaller in real life than it appears.  Not the case!  It is large and makes quite the statement!  Highly recommended!

No. 3 SADDLE UP – I was checking out all the cross body bags at Nordstrom last weekend and this cream saddle bag style from Elizabeth and James really stood out.  The knotted closure and gold hardware sets it apart and the cream color is very on-point this fall.

No. 4 COOL COFFEE – copper is like an edgier rose gold!  This gorgeous mug isn’t only pretty, but it keeps coffee super hot.

No. 5 BETTER IN PERSON – Sometimes furniture from Target is a little dinky.  This wooden campaign stool is sturdy and hefty in real life and the price ($79!) is great.  The style is beautiful and I feel like a pair of these would be perfect in the living room for extra seating.
