The List Week 9

It’s been a great week, but I’m happy it’s Friday!  For me, it was one of those weeks where I feel like I was just busy enough to keep motivated and energetic throughout the week.  How about you?

This weekend, I’m hoping to give the house a good clean and start thinking about SPRING! We are in the midst of clearing out our third floor (which had previously been used for storage) to make it into more of a useable bonus room (TV, video games, etc, etc) and are trying to clear it out enough to get it re-carpeted.  I will be sharing details in the next couple of weeks!

In the meantime, here are a few things that have been topping my charts this week!

The List Week 9

No. 1 SUMMER OF RATTAN – I am really falling for the rattan trend and think this summer I’ll probably go all in.  This round rattan tray is the perfect start to what I feel might become an obsession.  Can’t you just see it with a pair of margaritas and some cute napkins?!

No. 2 SPRING TRANSITION – Although it won’t be sandal season in Ohio for some time, I think these gorgeous nude tassel flats are perfect from now until Summer.  They say, “I’m feeling festive even when the weather isn’t”.

No. 3 A LITTLE CLASSIER? – I’m typically not a big fan of word art, but I like this ‘Stay Awhile’ art with the simple font mix.  You can really see the casual non-cutesy vibe in this image that I pinned.

No. 4 LIGHTING TO LOVEThis lamp!  Isn’t it beautiful! I’m really taken with it and have been scheming about what room it could possibly adorn.

No. 5 PLANNING – We’re planning a little getaway this spring and I’ve been researching hotels in South Beach pretty hard.  It’s somewhere that is a really quick flight and we can be walk to the beach and bars and restaurants and don’t really need a car. I’m stuck between the ‘dependable chain resort’ or ‘questionable quality by charming boutique hotel’.  Anybody have any favorite (and low cost!) suggestions in Miami Beach?
